Symphonic music heals the mind, gives rest to the soul, and at times inspires and energizes us, thereby enriching our lives. A national symphony orchestra is a measure of a country’s cultural level, and an important national cultural element representing the national status.

The Korean National Symphony Orchestra (KNSO) was established to present and serve this pride and benefit to the people. It has developed into a world-class symphony orchestra over the past 30 years, thanks to the efforts of great musicians, sponsors, and the government. Although there are still deficiencies, the KNSO, as Korea's representative symphony orchestra, will strive to become the world's best symphony orchestra.

The K-classical is a new Korean wave, which will raise national pride, get closer to the people, and present a higher level of cultural benefits to a truly national orchestra. All of this becomes possible when our orchestra and the people perform together. We ask for your interest and support.

Thank you.
