KNSO Composers’ Atelier The Korean National Symphony Orchestra has been supporting composers such as Texu Kim, Paul Yeon Lee, Myung-hoon Park, and Yie-eun Chun since 2014. It has introduced the mid- to long-term composer cultivation system in which composers can contemplate to their heart’s content and study the orchestra, so as to acilitate creative endeavors in classical music. The atelier is held every two years and is aimed at composers between the ages of 23 and 39. The composer who is chosen as the best composer will be given the opportunity to work as a composer-in-residence at the Korean National Symphony Orchestra for two years.
